Cancellations, Refunds, Transfers, And Substitutions Policy

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, and SUBSTITUTIONS

Important, please note: You may cancel a registration at any time, however, refunds are made ONLY in accordance with the guidelines below.

 HMW Courses (webinars) REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, and SUBSTITUTIONS

Please note that the refunds, transfers, and substitutions policy for webinars is different from the policies for classroom (HMT courses) and the DGSA progam below.

This refunds, transfers, and substitutions policy applies to all registrations for DGAC’s HMW courses (webinars). Please see below for HMT and DGSA course policies.

To cancel or modify a training registration, email us at training@dgac.org.

Refunds for HMW Webinar Cancellations by Students:

  • 100% of the webinar registration fee will be refunded if notification of the cancellation is received by DGAC at least 11 business days prior to the webinar.
  • 50% of the webinar registration fee will be refunded if notification of the cancellation is received by DGAC 6 – 10 business days prior to the webinar.
  • No refund can be made if notification of a webinar cancellation is received less than 6 business days prior to the webinar.
  • No refund can be made for webinar no-shows.

 Transfers (Transferring Your HMW Registration To A Different Training Session):

  • You may transfer your webinar registration to a different scheduled session of the same webinar, or to a scheduled HMT course of the same name, if space is available and notice of transfer is received by DGAC at least 6 business days prior to the webinar for which you are scheduled.

 Substitutions (Transferring Your HMW Registration To Another Student):

  • You may send a substitute to take your place in a webinar if notice of substitution is received by DGAC at least 6 business days prior to the webinar.

 DGAC Cancellations:

In the unlikely event that DGAC cancels a webinar course, DGAC's sole responsibility will be to refund the amount paid or reschedule, at DGAC's discretion. DGAC assumes no responsibility for other losses or expenses.

 

HMT Courses (classroom) REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, and SUBSTITUTIONS

Please note that the refunds, transfers, and substitutions policy for classroom (HMT courses) is different from the policies for webinars (HMW courses) and the DGSA progam.

This refunds, transfers, and substitutions policy applies to all registrations for DGAC’s HMT courses (classroom). Please see above for HMW courses (webinars), and see below for DGSA programs.

Refunds for HMT Course Cancellations by Students:

  • 100% of the course registration fee will be refunded if notification of the cancellation is received by DGAC at least 11 business days prior to the course.

  • No refund can be made if notification of a course cancellation is received fewer than 6 business days prior to the webinar.
  • No refund can be made for course no-shows.

Transfers (Transferring Your HMT Registration To A Different Training Session):

  • You may transfer your HMT course registration to a different scheduled session of the same HMT course, or to a scheduled webinar of the same name, if space is available and notice of transfer is received by DGAC at least 6 business days prior to the course for which you are registered.

Substitutions (Transferring Your HMT Registration To Another Student):

  • You may send a substitute to take your place in an HMT course without providing advance notice to DGAC, however, the substitution must occur before the course begins.

DGAC Cancellations:

In the unlikely event that DGAC cancels a course, DGAC's sole responsibility will be to refund the amount paid or reschedule, at DGAC's discretion. DGAC assumes no responsibility for loss of travel or other expenses.

 

DGSA Program REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, and SUBSTITUTIONS

Please note that the refunds, transfers, and substitutions policy for the DGSA program is different from the policies for webinars (HMW courses) and classroom (HMT courses) above.

This refunds, transfers, and substitutions policy applies to all registrations for DGAC’s DGSA program. Please see above for HMW and HMT courses.

To cancel a DGSA program registration, email us at training@dgac.org.

Refunds for DGSA Program Cancellations by Students:

  • Registrations for the DGSA program will be refunded, minus a $250 administrative fee, if notice of cancellation is received by DGAC at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the course.
  • No refunds will be made for the DGSA program if notice of cancellation is received by DGAC less than 30 days prior to the course.

Transfers and Substitutions for the DGSA Program:

  • Transfers and substitutions for the DGSA program are not permitted.

DGAC Cancellations:

In the unlikely event that DGAC cancels a DGSA program, DGAC's sole responsibility will be to refund the amount paid or reschedule, at DGAC's discretion. DGAC assumes no responsibility for loss of travel or other expenses.
