TRANSPORTATION SAFETY & TRAINING MANAGER

The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) is looking for a dynamic self-starter to create a new transportation safety program for use by members of our manufacturing trade association, and to support ongoing safety outreach programs. As Transportation Safety and Training Manager, you will work closely with the safety and communications staffs to create dynamic, high-profile programs to decrease our industry’s transportation-related accidents and injuries. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with relevant experience, preferably in the waste or recycling industry. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, as is a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
